This is what our work on site looks like

We want to highlight the societal approach to sustainability issues in Namibia. Our focus is on promoting effective social-ecological collaboration with regard to:

Food security through sustainable, climate-adapted, and innovative agricultural methods (e.g., hydroponics and aquaponics)
Water supply; Waste avoidance, -reduction, recycling; Alternative energy supply; Climate protection.
Educating children, youth, and adults; knowledge and technology transfer; supporting educational institutions;
Conducting scientific/cultural events and research projects; seminars/workshops.

As part of our projects, we increasingly work with aquaponic systems. This involves a method of fish and plant cultivation in which fish and plants live in a shared closed water cycle.

You can find more information about aquaponics here.
