We are committed to the promotion of German-Namibian cooperation

IT ALL BEGAN...

...with a passion for international development aid. Driven by the enthusiasm to actively support, friends, supporters, and partners founded the association "Social-ecological association for the promotion of the German-Namibian cooperation" in March 2019, shortly known as SEGENA e.V.

We develop and manage development projects with social and ecological characteristics in Namibia, as well as in Germany (Berlin/Brandenburg). Our projects primarily focus on sustainable food security, resource and climate protection, as well as environmental education.

The aim of our projects is to promote and strengthen future thinking and action in the context of sustainable functional agriculture and food security in the face of the climate crisis. Our greatest concern is long-term, sustainable, and above all, self-determined action even after the project ends.
